Sticky

Just before my mum’s birthday my dad would gather my sister and me for a secret wrapping conspiracy. Whilst my dad was cutting the paper, we were in charge of the sticky tape. The game was to keep just enough stock of pre-cut tapes ready for my dad to use when needed.
At this meetings we would also discuss who was going to give which present and in what order we’d bring them out.
It could never have taken that long, but in my memory we spent hours doing this each year and I always loved these wrapping sessions.
